Ed J. Aguayo

Ed J. Aguayo is the President of Newton. Prior to founding Newton, Ed served as the Mechanical Design Engineering Section Lead at SGT, Inc. Ed was responsible for managing tasks totaling more than $14.7 million in combined value. He supervised a team of 13 engineers. Ed provided growth opportunities for his employees to improve the value the company provided to the customer.

As a contractor for NASA GSFC, Ed has served in a variety of leadership positions. In his role, he led teams of engineers to meet project requirements within a challenging schedule and budget. As a team leader he recognizes the strengths of each member in his team, which he uses to maximize team performance and effectiveness to meet and exceed customer expectations.

Ed holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Purdue University. He holds a Project Manager Professional (PMP) certificate.

Justin D. Ward

Justin D. Ward serves as Newton’s Vice President and is responsible for executing the company’s strategic plan. Justin has served in several government contracting roles such as a Technical Manager leading a 50-person team on a $500M+ engineering services contract, as well as Director of Business Development where he grew the annual revenue of a small business from $4M to over $10M in less than a year. With over 15 years of experience in government contracting and demonstrated results, Mr. Ward has developed a strong reputation for developing new business opportunities, creating implementation plans, and successful execution – ultimately accomplishing the customer’s goals.
